Google made a HUGE announcement

with one small flaw...

Google just made a HUGE new announcement!

It might fundamentally change the world as we know it.

… but the only problem is …

… this is the information they shared:

“Quantum coherence times”…. right

You understand what that means right…?

No?

Okay, try this one:

Surely you know about the challenge in super connecting cubits … right?

Of course, I’m being sarcastic here. But do you see the problem?

The problem is that NO ONE KNOWS WHAT THEY’RE TALKING ABOUT!

Here’s proof from the comment section:

This made me laugh.

and my personal favorite:

This is a perfect demonstration of ‘The curse of knowledge.’

When we know so much about a topic, we share it thinking everyone knows as much as we do.

That ends up alienating the audience and they lose interest.

This could have been an exciting announcement about a new technology and its implications, but it ended up being technical jargon packaged with clean slides.

Here’s what’s important for you to know:

Know who your message is for, then speak to the level of knowledge of your audience.

Here’s a better version of this from PCMAG:

I still had to look up what ‘septillion’ was but at least I know what this chip does.

Keep it simple!
